President’s Letter July 2010

Well it’s finally come and gone. The BEST Vintage Mustang Show in the West.

The weather was perfect. The cars were great, and all the participants were friendly.

There was a total of 173 car registered, 12 vendor booths and Hundreds of people enjoying a great event. This could not have been possible without the large number of Volunteers that stepped up and did their job. I would like to thank Rick Pickering, Myron Moreno and Craig Bauer for their time and dedication to get this show to the finish line. Also special thanks to Sally & John O’Toole for all their work with registration, plus all the small stuff that had to be picked up. Also, Rod Davison for gathering up all those volunteers, probably the hardest job at any car show. I would also like to thank everyone that stayed in the club booth all day long, Great job. The Winners Circle went down without a hitch, the smoothest it has run in years.

We had many compliments from all the Vendors, Car owners and Spectators. This show has the best format of any car show that I have been to. And everyone that has to vote can appreciate that. No wandering from aisle to aisle trying to find a particular car or class. This format makes viewing and voting so much more enjoyable.

GREAT JOB EVERYONE !

I would also like to send out a reminder about the upcoming “Pacific Grove Concours Auto Rally”. This will be a VMOA club event, and I would like to get as many Club Mustangs to attend this event as possible. The date for this event is 08/13/10 this is a Friday. Mustang will be the Marque car. John O’Toole is keeping us up to date on this event
