President’s Letter February 2010
It’s that time of year again, WET.. it seems as though the rain will never stop. Although we do need to recover from all the lean winters from past years. Hopefully the snow pack will get a lot deeper in the Sierra.
I just wanted to thank Myron Moreno for arranging the location for the installation dinner at Maria Elena’s in beautiful Alviso. We had a total of 54 members and guests who enjoyed dinner and spirits. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves, which made it a lot easier to talk and mingle. Great choice Myron, Thank you.
It looks like we are forging ahead with Tiffany Ford's 100th Anniversary. Mustangs will be on display for the month of April, with a tech session tentatively set for April 10th. If you want to check out all of the activities at Tiffany Ford, just checkout their web site www.tiffanyford.com and click on the 100-years, this will have the whole year laid out by month and cars to be on display. I will keep the club updated via email on all going ons at Tiffany Ford.
As I briefly mentioned at the Installation dinner, I would like this club to get back on the road again. Get out and drive our beloved Mustangs. Be it an over night excursion or just a Saturday picnic. I am going to try and line up some great driving events that will get some of our cars out of the garage and the rubber to the ground. Because after all isn’t that why we bought a Mustang and not a Camaro !!
