From The Presidents Desk
President’s letter April 2009
Spring is here, and so begins another season of car shows. I love going to car shows. If I’m driving my Mustang, or going with friends, car shows are always a fun time. I have been trying to cut down on travel time when I take the ’68 Mustang on outings. California freeways are not too friendly to the older cars! I definitely try and get to at least one Goodguys in Pleasanton and maybe one Mustangs Plus show in Stockton, but I always go to the shows in Monterey and Marina Ca.
Cherries Jubilee at Laguna Seca is like a mini Hot August Nites in Reno but a lot closer. And the show at the Marina airport is a real treat because of the air show that accompanies the show. What more can you ask for, hot cars and hot war birds. But our annual show at De Anza collage is always a great day. One of the biggest gatherings of Mustangs and Ford Muscle in Nor Cal. Make sure to check out the web site for up coming news about our show and the Palo Alto Concourse, both will be events not to miss.
I would like to thank all that attended this month’s Board meeting. We were able to complete putting together the show flyers in about an hour, Great job.
