Poker Run - Great turn out, perfect weather, and good wine-tasting. Congratulations to the winners with the best (and worst) Poker hands. Many thanks to Mary and Phil Deardorf for putting this event together. Thanks also to Renee and Stan Ambrozy and Mike and Kathy Riccardi for all of their help. And of course to all of you VMOA members for participating with your Mustangs and making this event a success for the third consecutive year, looking forward to next year. The one that got away - We all keep photos of Mustangs we previously owned, below is a picture of a Mustang that I did not own. Perhaps someone reading this knows the whereabouts of this car. 1965 K Code GT Fastback - 4spd - Ivy Green/Parchment Interior. I considered the purchase of this car around 1993. The gentleman selling it said that it spent most of it’s life in Arizona. Not a show car but a presentable driver, and I’ve always had a fondness for those spinner hubcaps. I can’t seem to remember why I did not buy this car, but is was probably economic.

VMOA Holiday Party and Elections - As you will see posted in this issue of Pony Express, the VMOA December meeting will be our 2008 Holiday Party, Gift Exchange and Gift Donation. The meeting will held at the NorCal Shelby Clubhouse located at 790 East Duane Ave, Sunnyvale. Look for the announcement. At the December meeting we will also be having our Officer and Board position elections—so please think about running or nominating someone to run.
