The Donut Deal at John D. Morgan Park in Campbell on Sunday, Sept 21st was a big success with 13 club cars and about 20 members in attendance. And the Coffee and Donuts weren't bad. I want to thank all that showed up with or without their Mustangs. See photos within this issue of Pony Express.

Elections - Although I have plenty to say about the upcoming United States of America Presidential Elections, I'm not referring to those. As we enter the 4th quarter of 2008, it's time to start thinking about the election for VMOA Officer and Board positions for 2009. Once again I will be soliciting the membership for individuals that will run for these positions, and that means you!

2009 VMOA Car Show - I am happy to report that Tom Hasenberg and Neal Hashieder, Co-Chairs of the Car Show Committee for the past three years, have agreed to oversee the show for 2009. With that I am hopeful that the usual cast of characters will return to the committee in 2009. 40th anniversary Boss tribute?

MCA memberships - I am still compiling the list of VMOA members that are members of the Mustang Club of America. I have been provided the MCA numbers from six (6) members thus far including Bill Croxton, Steve Chapman, Alex Meza, Ken Mannina, Neal Hashieder, Tom Hasenberg, Thank You! If you're not one of those six, but have previously forwarded me your MCA number, please send it to me again. As you know we need a minimum of ten (10) MCA members within the VMOA membership in order to maintain our affiliation. Please think about joining and advise me of your MCA number.
