CAR SHOW SCHEDULE – Sat., June 19, 2010

8:00 – 10:00AM	Participant Registration: Car check-in and field placement. Enter De Anza College (intersection of Stevens Creek Blvd. & Stelling Road in Cupertino) and look for the *VMOA Car Show* signs.
10:00AM – 1:00PM	Peer judging – Ballot Box at the VMOA info booth.
11:00 AM	Deadline for T-shirt redemption at the info booth.
1:00PM	Vote tallying all ballots must be turned in
2:00PM	Awards presentation

NOTE: Car trailers will be parked on the side of the parking lot

JUDGING PROCEDURES:

Participant’s Choice (Peer Judging) is the process of having your car judged against other cars, by your PEERS. “PEERS” are defined as the owners and drivers of other Mustangs and Fords in the Show.

As a car show participant, you will be given only one (1) ballot per car entry, to vote for your choice of car in each and all classes by writing the car’s entry number in the appropriate class box. No other ballots will be given out; therefore, only car show participants will be allowed to vote. Your car will be judged only by other “MUSTANG-SAVVY” people, such as yourself. You use your own standards to determine the judging criteria for each class.

The judging deadline is 1:00PM SHARP! See the ballot box at the club information booth.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW….

All cars must pass through the main show entrance for registration procedures, and then will be directed to park by the VMOA show committee. Due to field constrictions, trailered cars will be directed to a separate area for unloading.

First Car entry* (postmarked by June 10, 2010)	$30.00 per car
Additional Car entries #	$20.00 per car
All entries postmarked after June 10, 2010*	$40.00 per car
Pony Corral (Mustangs for sale)	$20.00 per car

* This fee includes one (1) show T-shirt per entry
# Discount fee does not include a T-shirt; Cars must have the same registered owner
The first 200 cars entered will receive a dash plaque commemorating the event.

NOTE: Spectators are free!
However, visitor parking on campus is $2.00 (paid to De Anza College).

NO ‘FOR SALE’ SIGNS, carpets, mirrors, canopies, or jack stands are allowed on the show field (The club will provide canopies in the food area).

CARS MUST REMAIN ON THE SHOW FIELD THROUGH JUDGING IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR TROPHY CONTENTION.

AWARDS PRESENTATION
We will present the awards for the Car Show on the show grounds at 2:30PM.
There will be an awards procession for the first place car in each class.

CAR CORRAL
A car corral (Fords and Mercurys only) will be provided at the show site to display cars for sale. Car Corral entries will be accepted up to and on the day of the show, as long as space is available @ $20.00 per car.

REFRESHMENTS

The De Anza Auto Tech Club will be selling food and beverages at the car show site. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR BBQ GRILLS ARE ALLOWED ON THE DE ANZA COLLEGE PREMISES.
